Hailey Bieber Proposes the Return of Teal for Fall

Hailey Bieber is back in New York, bringing a serious wardrobe to match the serious beauty mogul business she’s been doing. What that looks like: a dove gray co-ord from Donna Karan spring summer 1996, a buttery YSL blazer from the Tom Ford era, a Dior skirt suit, a mustardy YSL pencil skirt, and more killer pieces from her beloved The Row, Phoebe Philo, and Gucci. For her celebratory night on the town, she and her stylist Dani Michelle opted for another bold, archival look.

Following her day at Sephora, where she was launching Rhode’s first retail expansion, Bieber was photographed stepping out in Soho wearing a teal satin shirt from Gucci fall winter 1995. She wore the Tom Ford-era top secured with just one button, paired with silky black tailored trousers, and open-toed mules. Her hair, which had been up in a slickback bun all day, was brought down into loose waves. Bieber accessorized simply with a dainty gold necklace and oval sunglasses.

The pop of teal proposes a new, but not unsurprising shade, for our fall wardrobes. It’s a jewel tone that hits the same seductive color palette that we saw at Haider Ackermann’s debut for Tom Ford for fall winter 2025, as well as the more acidic colors at Valentino, the sumptuous and moddish purples at Miu Miu, and the Gucci-isms at the house’s post-Michele, interim fall winter 2025 show. Of course, Bieber has long been a trendsetter for the colorful and characterful moods of the season, whether it be damning butter yellow in favor of the “lemontini” shade, or the she’s-not-going-away-just-yet tomato girl summer.

Bieber had much to celebrate: Rhode, which she sold to Elf Beauty for $1 billion but that she remains at the creative helm of, is now officially available to shop at stores across the U.S. and Canada, with plans to roll out in the U.K. these next few months. Until this point, the brand had only been available to purchase through rhodeskin.com The launch is also reportedly the largest in Sephora’s history. So really, a Hailey Bieber win calls for some sexy, silky Tom Ford-isms to match.
