France has committed €8.6 billion in military and financial aid to Ukraine since Russia’s 2022 invasion, according to a forthcoming government report that details how French support has evolved over time. Military expert Guillaume Ancel tells FRANCE 24 the contribution is significant but “not decisive on its own”.
