We’re big fans of Dyson around here, whether it’s for vacuums or for hair tools. We’ve tried every single one of Dyson’s powerful vacuums, and the V15 and its variants are our overall favorites for a ton of reasons: powerful suction! Particle tracking! A handy green light to spot dust! Lots of attachments! The V15 has a trigger button so you can easily turn the vacuum on and off, which is especially handy when vacuuming things like stairs. It’s a great and powerful vacuum I’ve used all over my three-story townhouse, and other WIRED reviewers are fans as well.

But the hardest part about shopping for a Dyson, including the V15, is the price tag. If that’s what’s holding you back, good news: the V15 Detect Plus, which comes with a special attachment, is on sale right now for Prime Day. Not only that, but the V15 Detect Submarine, the version that can do wet cleaning, is also on sale.

The V15 Detect is our usual recommendation, but the V15 Detect Plus is the same vacuum with one different attachment—instead of a combination tool, you’ll get a dusting brush. Both are great attachments and you’ll still get the Fluffy Optic cleaner head, Digital Motorbar cleaner head, hair screw tool, and crevice tool. The battery lasts plenty long enough to vacuum two sets of stairs and three bedrooms of carpet, plus a massive living room rug and some quick vacuuming across tile.

    V15s Detect Submarine

If you wish you had a Dyson that could vacuum your house and mop your floors, the V15 Detect Submarine can do that too, and it’s on sale right now. This version adds a wet roller head and drip tray, plus a small water reservoir. Once you fill up the water and slide it into the head, you can press the trigger normally to activate wet cleaning. You can then take the wet attachments off to use it as a regular V15 vacuum again.
