The Washington Commanders got it started by unveiling their new alternate threads on July 9, followed by the Los Angeles Chargers with two new uniforms unveiled on July 15. Throwbacks have been a popular choice, with the Commanders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers tapping into that lane. The Chargers have also gone back in time, dropping a “modern throwback” all-navy combination. Few teams went as far back with their throwbacks as the Pittsburgh Steelers, who tapped into the franchise’s 1933 uniforms for their new threads.

Helmets are getting love, too, as the New Orleans Saints dropped a new design in addition to a throwback uniform of their own and the Cleveland Browns shared a new lid. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills brought back a popular helmet color for their final season at Highmark Stadium.

Here’s a look at all of the NFL uniform reveals during the 2025 offseason in order of the latest ones.

The Green Bay Packers throwback uniforms are a flashback to 1923. Green Bay Packers

The Packers are going back to 1923 for their latest throwback uniform, a navy-blue look complete with a hand-painted helmet meant to resemble the classic leather lids. 1923 marks the year the Packers became a publicly owned team. Green Bay revamped the threads from black and white photographs. There is no date yet on when they will wear them in game.

It marks the first time in franchise history that Cleveland will wear brown helmets.

It includes a blue-and-white stripe running from front to back, white face mask and primarily blue buffalo. The Bills will don the helmet during their final regular-season game at the stadium.

Pittsburgh went way back in time with its throwback look, drawing inspiration from the team’s 1933 uniform — beige-colored pants and all. The uniform also features a black-and-yellow stripe-patterned jersey and the team’s first yellow helmet since the 2011 season.

The Steelers’ new threads will be worn once next fall, in a “Sunday Night Football” matchup with the Green Bay Packers on Oct. 26.

The Chargers’ already popular uniform closet received major upgrades with the unveiling of two new alternate looks: “Charger Power” and “Super Chargers.” Los Angeles will also add powder blue pants to wear with either the home powder blue uniform or the road white jersey.

The all-gold Charger Power uniforms will debut in Week 7 (Oct. 19) against the Indianapolis Colts, while the all-navy Super Chargers threads will debut in Week 8 (Oct. 23) against the Minnesota Vikings, then be worn again in Week 13 (Nov. 30) against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Buccaneers’ classic white and “Creamsicle” road uniforms return for the first time in nearly five decades. The Bucs will don the modernized version of these road uniforms — a white jersey with orange numbers and red trim — in their 50th season home opener against the New York Jets on Sept. 21.

Tampa Bay has worn orange jerseys as part of their throwback look since 2009, but this is the first time they’ve worn their original uniforms from their inaugural season, which they wore for just one year.

    Washington Commanders, July 9

The latest Commanders throwback threads were unveiled on July 9. Commanders/X

The Commanders will turn to their championship-winning past when it comes to their alternate look this season, returning their jerseys and pants to their style before they changed their name and redesigned the jerseys for 2022. Washington won three Super Bowls — after the 1983, 1987 and 1991 seasons — while wearing what will be their 2025 alternates. The helmets will retain the new logo.

Washington will wear the burgundy-and-gold look three times this season: in Sunday night games vs. the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 2 and vs. the Denver Broncos on Nov. 30, and in the regular-season home finale vs. the Dallas Cowboys on Christmas Day.
