Tesla’s long-awaited robotaxis rolled out for the first time on roads in Austin, Texas on Sunday. In videos shared by Tesla on X, a small group of invited analysts, influencers and shareholders were shown participating in paid rides. The small number of vehicles deployed had a human safety operator in the passenger seat, according to reports.Analysts said the “low-key” robotaxi launch highlights Tesla’s big bid to compete with existing self-driving taxi operators in the US and China, as the sector grows.Musk congratulated Tesla’s artificial intelligence and chip design teams on the launch in a post on X, writing that it was…
Emmy voting has entered its final stretch, with just 12 hours remaining before ballots officially close at 10:00 p.m. PT on Monday, June 23. At this stage in the game, the television landscape can start to feel like an echo chamber, with a handful of prestige titles gobbling up the bulk of the buzz, campaign dollars and media oxygen. There’s nothing wrong with rewarding excellence where it’s obvious. Still, the Emmys also serve another purpose: to spotlight the full spectrum of TV excellence, including the shows that aren’t plastered on every billboard in Los Angeles. From innovative streaming originals to…
Etro took a quieter route this season, presenting its men’s collection without fanfare in a showroom display. Shown on mannequins and designed by the in-house team, the collection stayed within familiar territory, riffing on the brand’s paisley prints without pushing for reinvention. The motifs were drawn from an archival pochette, and reimagined across fluid silk shirts, lightweight knitted blousons, and the brand’s signature pajama sets, complete with matching kimono robes, for a touch of worldly nonchalance.Ornamental prints were woven into a more grounded menswear lexicon, a deliberate move that balanced Etro’s signature decorative penchant with pragmatism. Soft-tailored suits, relaxed silhouettes, and…

Italy has long been a favorite country to visit among travelers. However, there are still plenty of places in Italy that have been overlooked—including one that’s been named an underrated summer holiday destination in a new study. Tucked between Tuscany and Lazio in central Italy is Umbria, a region that remains, somehow, just out of the spotlight. Often called Italy’s “green heart,” it may feel less polished and be less photographed than its more well-known neighbors, but it’s no less enchanting. The little-known region was recently named Europe’s most underrated, luxurious summer holiday destination by CV Villas, a London-based travel…
The Israeli military has struck Tehran’s notorious Evin prison and damaged parts of the facility, which holds many political detainees, Iran’s judiciary says. The judiciary’s Mizan news agency reported that the situation on the ground was “under control” following the attack. After the U.S. bombed Iranian nuclear sites, protests sprung up around the world. Some supported Trump’s actions while others expressed dismay about America’s involvement in the conflict.

They would also avoid the need to pay inheritance tax.Labour Chancellor Rachel Reeves said the measure amounted to a “tax cut for foreign billionaires” and Reform would have to…
US congressional staffers have reportedly been told that they’re no longer allowed to use WhatsApp on government devices. The House of Representatives’ chief administrative officer (CAO) is said to have informed workers on Monday that the app — including the mobile, desktop and web-based versions — is not permitted on House-managed devices.”The Office of Cybersecurity has deemed WhatsApp a high risk to users due to the lack of transparency in how it protects user data, absence of stored data encryption and potential security risks involved with its use,” the CAO wrote in an email, according to Axios. Microsoft Teams, Wickr,…
