    Bed & bath: 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths
Top amenities: Heated saltwater pool, aesthetic eight-person outdoor dining table

This glimmering white, contemporary villa tucked in the sleepy village of Brejos da Carregueira de Cima is spacious enough for one large family or two small ones. It has four bedrooms, but is capable of sleeping up to 10 guests. It’s in the heart of the Alentejo in Portugal, a region known for its vineyards, olive groves, and rolling hills dotted with small towns. Wide, step-free spaces include the two entrances, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and showers. There’s also a wide, accessible parking space. Nearby village Carvalhal, which is a 10-minute drive away, is serviced with groceries, restaurants, coffee shops, banks, and boutiques.

The property has a perfect 5.0-star rating on Airbnb, and June 2021 reviewer Katerina says of the space, “Patricia’s house was bright, spacious, sparkling clean, and well-designed with amazing vibes! The villa is only a five-minute drive from the main beaches and Comporta, but still very private. We had such a great time on the terrace, bathing in the salty swimming pool, watching the sunset, or admiring her magical garden.” Peruse more of our fave Airbnbs in Portugal here.
