In his first public appearance since the outbreak of last month’s Israel-Iran war, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei attended a religious event on Saturday, state media reported. During the 12-day war, which started on June 13, Khamenei avoided public appearances, issuing pre-taped messages for apparent security reasons.
