Charli xcx’s Brat backdrop is still smouldering after her set at Glastonbury 2025, but already attention has turned from Somerset to London’s SW19 district for Wimbledon 2025, now the world’s most prestigious tennis tournament is underway. At Wimbledon this week, many a celebrity tennis fan will be swapping the babydoll dresses and bra tops they wore at Glasto for more LTA-friendly tailoring.
The soon-to-be Sir David Beckham dressed in Hugo Boss for day one of the tournament, while Princess Beatrice attended with her mother Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, and Joanna Lumley was representing acting royalty in the stands. Hollywood star Jessica Alba, meanwhile, was spied enjoying the Evian suite with her daughter, Honor Warren. On day two, Cate Blanchett was spied continuing her London summer, after co-hosting the Serpentine Summer Party last week. On day three, Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge had a preppy, gingham, and striped couples style moment.
And while we’ve witnessed some of the best fashions on the Wimbledon court—from Coco Gauff in an ultra-feminine New Balance kit to Lorenzo Musetti in Louise Trotter’s new era Bottega Veneta jacket—the celebrity outfits have served just as much.
As the games continue and the stakes get higher, the events will get even more star-studded. We can expect some appearances by the royals, too, of course.
