20 Best Restaurants in Bermuda, From Fish Sandwich Joints to Sushi and Steakhouses

Blu Bar & Grill, Bermuda’s most beloved restaurant, goes to town on its signature color: A giant starfish hangs on a bright-blue wall just beyond the hostess stand; cerulean chairs perch on a navy carpet; and there, in the distance, is a wall of windows all facing the Great Sound and Hamilton Harbour—blissfully azure waters as far as the eye can see. The main dining room is bedecked in crisp white linens and white, high-back chairs; warm wooden walls wrap the black granite bar—which is, of course, the best place to begin the evening. Blu’s everything-but-the-kitchen-sink menu might seem daunting; after all, there’s sushi, nigiri, and sashimi; Asian fusion dishes; a raw bar; classic osetra caviar; traditional Italian pastas; locally caught seafood; hearty cuts of beef; and—gasp—pizza. The mish-mash of cuisines might make most traditionalists avoid this place, but somehow it all works.
